Sneaker Pros and Cons:

Adidas recently released a brand new model called the alpha boost which is a combination of the Alpha Bounce with a boost midsole. Here is a video review of the shoe after wearing and some pros and cons of the AlphaBOOST

A couple shoes for comparison
93/17 is heavier and flatter feeling
Ultraboost has more boost under foot feels more springy
Alphabounce is firmer but feels great that way
React presto is much softer underfoot but not for performance
Pegasus Turbo is much softer better all around shoe imo

Pros
Light
Wide foot friendly
Comfy!
Lots of boost
Continental rubber
Versatile
Can be used for running and casual
Easy to get on feet

Cons
$150 is a lot
Too much competition for comfy sneakers for less like React presto, React element, nite jogger.
Boost is huge but not felt as much as expected
Not too much better than alphabounce imo and bounce is much cheaper

Final thoughts? It’s a great all around shoe! If you like the Alpha Bounce this is a nice addition to that line and feels very similar because the upper is pretty much exactly the same with the addition of a little bit softer midsole from boost instead of bounce. It may be worth waiting for the sale price however if you want to wait out buying these I anticipate they will drop in price, but if you’re wanting to try these and experience them for yourself then you can buy them with the link in the description now

I just got mine (Alphaboost Parley) for 7000 yen or 62ish USD and absolutely loving them! I wear them almost everytime and they fit very well. Won't buy this at the original price tho just like you said but overall, it's a very comfortable shoe.

  • comment-avatar

Got mine for 49 bucks. Looking forward to trying them out

  • comment-avatar

    60$ on adidas.com today

  • comment-avatar

So I'm a hardcore runner and I wanted something that looks awesome. I used the continental alphabounce 5/8 outdoor shoes to run outside, and man they rock. I Bought these today and I have never, ever had a better running shoe. Even from the boutique stores o went to when I ran in college. This bugs your ankle and just rolls with every stride. You get amazing, soft, bouncy feedback with every step. These could look like NB and I'd still buy them.

  • comment-avatar

If anyone is looking to cop these, I just got them for $60 on the adidas app, specifically the grey is $60, like the ones shown in the video. $63 and some change at checkout.

  • comment-avatar

Just got the parley today for a belated Christmas present. I honestly really like them. Obviously the ultra boost is more comfy, but I’m all about these. They’re solid

  • comment-avatar

just got a pair for $60, 50% off

  • comment-avatar

Saw these at my Marshall’s for $50 I’m definitely going to cop now

  • comment-avatar

I got the same pair, these are way to firm for being boost, why make these if they're going to be just like bounce

  • comment-avatar

I just bought the one with indigo boost. The eg1440… It looks like an iss collab because of the grey upper and indigo boost. Very satisfied here cause i have a wide feet and fits perfectly.

150 actually seems good the boost acts like a guide rail to keep you more stable! Kinda like the original alpha bounce.
