  1. The Hmong aren’t Vietnamese (Kinh) or Chinese (Han). They’re their own group of people with the their own language and customs. However they were not powerful enough to create their own country. Today they live in both Vietnam and China

  2. Your videos always have great shots of the places you visit . But no matter where, you always seem to find friendly and beautiful people to introduce to us and the world.

  3. That guy had an amazing idea. I hope others try to hook you up when you get to their city and promote their business and help you get a great tour and story.

  4. Hi Matt, good to see you bounce back from your nasty accident in your tricycle, by the way I wanted to inform you that the potato like
veg you were curious about is called Tapioka, which is also made into chips and wine. Cheers.

  5. Love the way the sun has painted your face!!! I have been trying to find your very first JaYoe tour so I can listen to the music you used every episode in the beginning. I loved that music!!! Where can I go to watch those very first episodes? The scenery is so beautiful! Su is doing a great job of showing you around!!!

  6. Awesome video! Thank You again for sharing. All your work filming, editing is great! Thank you! People tend to overlook the fact of all the behind the camera work thats done as well. JaYoe!

  7. 6:10 Hmong minority fled China from the massacres imposed by the Manchurian emperor…Even kids taller than the wheel of horse carriage will be slaughtered…inequality sucks

  8. i like this episode so much ! beautiful trip, beautiful background music. great contents and Cool video editting.

  9. You should do a promotional video for SaPa. It's a magical place, but Veitnamese must protect their natural beauty.

  10. This is one of your best vlog videos. It is on par or even better than some of the major network travel channel videos. Great job and thanks for doing this. You have found a good local guide and I am sure he will get more business from social media platforms. JaYoe !!

  11. Chinese army can never forget Sapa. In 1979, PLA 149 division had a bloody battle against Vietnam army 316a division. Thounds of young men died or injured on the soil of Sapa.

  12. in china, a lot of hmong people, zhuan people are doing very well. btw, it is great video. but i still think you need some sort of stabilizer….:)

  13. Yet another fabulous video. I've only been following you since southern China. Have you done any Q & A's yet, or if not, are you planning any? I think you would get bombarded. Great stuff.

  14. So "Su" is from the Mong minority, originally from China. I understand there are some similarities between Vietnamese and Chinese. I really enjoy how you're meeting the locals and introducing a bit of their culture. We now need to know what, "JaYoe!" is in Vietnam. 加油
