Malaysia has warned of a fresh wave of COVID-19 infections, if people do not follow the tough new restrictions that came into force on March 18. The two-week partial lockdown includes travel restrictions, business and school closures, as well as a ban on large-scale gatherings. Foreigners are not allowed to enter the country. Malaysians cannot travel between states unless with a police permit, but that has since been relaxed after police were inundated by requests. However, some Malaysians are determined not to let the situation get them down.

We all need to adapt. We need to be responsible. No dining in means we have to comply. In Singapore, the shopping mall eateries are still jam packed like sardines. This has to change.

This is very good for the country and for mankind to prevent further spread of the disease. Some just won't take it seriously until it hits home. Hopefully we will have a vaccine soon. Until then, all must work together. Please be safe.

Wouldn't it be nice if this was just about a virus? Very soon the real problem will become a reality. The financial crisis that we are not hearing anything about.
This is not about Malaysia, it is worldwide.

  • comment-avatar

If a big portion of the population dies, your business will die too.. and why are the people going to their kampung hometown? how come they have the heart to spread whatever virus they might have, to their love ones in the kampung… the people didn't get tested before going to kampung, right?
