My 4kibq32t1 is much slower then yours and i have a crucial mx 500 too. The other ones are mostly identical

The mx drives also have thermal management so when it some how manages to overheat it slows down so not really an issue (and it's made out of metal so likely won't overheat any way, heat tends to be more an nvme issue but can happen in laptops ), power loss protection on all mx drives are partial power loss protection, it only protects the page table not data in flight, if page table is corrupted the drive would become not usable until secure erase has been used so that's why they do it loss of page table is more imported then small loss of data that likely going to be corrupted anyway so just let windows to sort out filesystem level issues as partly written data is lost really any way

Samsung does not have power loss protection but it has power loss recovery (smart POR event) which fall back slightly out of date page table that is stored on the NAND and perform some sort of checks on power up to correct any are inconsistencies in the page table and data stored in the sudden loss of power
