Won't this store your operating system on the sd?

  • comment-avatar

    It doesn't work

  • comment-avatar

I think there is a much simpler way. You probably opened that and everybody elses phones security up to all kinds of vulnerabilities. But what do you care. Looks cool.

    How about Samsung S7 Active?

  • comment-avatar

This feature has been disabled permanently on Oreo display.

Hi, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Android 8 Oreo
Went through all the procedures, obtained disk information "Disk:179,0".
But when I tried to partion the disk with command line "sm partition disk:179,0 mixed 50" nothing happened.
Any ideas anyone, is it due to version 8 android.
    Thanks

I tried this method and it did work on my LG G stylo, however I couldn't add any music to my phone, while the phone said I had much more space available the computer was only picking up the 8Gb that came with the phone and not the extended memory. Anyone knows a way to add music or content onto the phone after the memory has been adopted?

  • comment-avatar

Thanks so much, I can now have all updates with space for what I want. 🙂

adb not recognized as an internal or external command as well. I think this isn't possibrruu now … maybe they patched it. thinking they are losing money because of captilism.

you're full of shit. Before you use the command prompt you need to download something on your computer to use ADB. I can't use ADB on my computer command prompt for some reason and I don't know why, but this dumb ass doesn't say and assumes that everyone can.

  • comment-avatar

    Does it route the phone?

Maybe somebody can help… I have a LG Stylo 2 Plus running Android 7.0. I have followed the steps and enabled adoptable storage, but when I pull up my file manager all I see is the 8gb of internal storage (should be 16 GB). When I go to "Settings" and go to "Storage", It shows the 16 GB of Internal storage and the 64 GB on SD card as Internal device storage. Also, when I connect to my computer all I can see is the 8 gb of internal storage. Can anyone tell me how to see all storage? What did I do wrong?

Hey, I'm hoping you or someone else can help me with my issue. The first issue I ran into was software options. I switched usb cables but nothing. So I cannot apply software options. I noticed in your comments you said to try MTP and if I ran into a problem to turn USB debugging on and off. I did and no solution. The issue I ran into here is when I type "adb shell" the line on the bottom isn't beginning with the word "shell." I've noticed in your tutorial and others that once they press enter after "adb shell" the next line begins with shell@. I am not getting that response. Please, I need help.
