Note: If port 80 is not the problem, it could be another port. Such as 443 because apache also uses port 443. If you need to change port 443, go to httpd-ssl.conf and look for the appropriate “listen 443” and change it to something such as 444.

great video,one question though ,how will i be able to make this as default so that i dont have to write port 82 or different one everytime and the page will automatically get transferred like with port 80.

I had a port 443 conflict with VMWare. A change to the C:xamppapacheconfextra …ssl config file resolved the problem.
