This is a short tutorial of “Permision Denied” while coping or moving.
For this you will need ‘Open in Terminal’
Get it with below commands,1st log in as root
Fedora- yum install nautilus-open-terminal
Ubuntu- sudo apt-get install nautilus-open-terminal

Hello I was wondering if you could help you seem very educated on computers I'm trying to install speech recognition 3.1.3 to my robot using putty so I put command "ls" to show me the files and dictionaries so put in cd speech recognition 3.1.3 so I'm in the right library then I put the command python install hit enter error 13 permission denied so I put in sudo python install then it asks for password when I enter password I tried root said sorry try again so then I tried another password came up with sorry can't use that password to execute command so I assume that's the right password can't execute it could you please please help I'm really frustrated and I really want to achieve this thanks

    Какого хуя нужно держать в голове всякий бред. Вылезло в терминале Premission denied и бля справки нормальной нет!
    Уроды ссука!

  4. I couldn’t get this to work at all, all I wanted to do was to copy one measly file into a certain folder so I could get a program to work and it wouldn't let me. So I tried opening the folder as root without needing to dick around in the terminal … and problem solved!

  5. I followed your directions very carefully, but it does seem to not work. I am trying to delete some files on an external hard disk which I use for backup among other things, and am worried that the disk and the files on it may be unusable. I can't move them off the disk. Help!
