Buy on Amazon:
Crucial and their parent company Micron have certainly launched their share of SSDs over the years. Product launches have effectively toggled back and forth between both names, with Crucial handling the upgrade market while Micron proper handles the OEM side of things. Both sides have one thing in common – solid performing SSDs at a budget-friendly price point. Having the best performing SSD on the market is great, but does nobody any good if the majority of purchasers can’t afford it.

why making them affordable again? I feel like they haven't ever been that affordable as the. currently are
have no cache memory… shameful.
3d TLC NAND
Is momentum cache worth it?
samsung 850 series is very affordable now when they are discontinued.. atleast where i live.. have been price dropping alot.. Best SSD buy right now until they are gone then its going back to crucial again.. 860 is overpriced
It’s named MX500 probably for Chinese market as number four and death shares identical pronunciation in Chinese.

Why did he say that this has TLC memory, but on there website, it says that it has SLC memory? From the site, "Our Dynamic Write Acceleration technology uses an adaptable pool of high-speed, single-level cell flash memory to generate blistering speeds." It doesn't even mention anything about TLC memory on the site. It is annoying how companies always leave out important details when you research the specs on certain websites.
this or samsung evo?
How this MX500 performance vs the samsung 850 evo?
Wjy tlc?
Great, liked the interview, it should be done more often. On the other note, I still feel that Samsungs 850 series and up are the ones to go to still. It is nice to have competition, but they didn't surpass Samsung, they are just a little cheaper. I usually use Crucial or Kingston for low level office and school PCs, never for gaming computers (except maybe entry level gaming).
Your 2nd camera still really hates your current lighting.
nice!!!! we need better prices
So much talking, so little information….
Did they put XPoint in, to replace the capacitors?
Urgh, why does marketing give in to superstition type sentiments? 400? It's just a number …IT'S JUST A FRIKKIN NUMBER! …an iteration …more / higher than the previous model. …i don't get it. Is it this jewish numerology thing? …or hinduism? Probably religious; because no reasonable minded person would classify "some 400 thing" as something to stay away from. Ramen! sigh
Skip the MX400 cause 4 is bad luck
haha
"Making SSDs Affordable Again"
It's still £250 (aprox $333), how on earth is that affordable?
How would this work as a Cache Dive for UNRAID ?
I have many MX300's. They're fantastic!!!
Thanks Allyn
My MX300 is still going strong, was a good purchase.
Why is Cruical avoiding the Name MX 400?
