  1. does it specifically asks for root access to update recovery? I had root access earlier in my Marshmallow Rom and installed TWRP. Now I updated to Nougat and didn't installed SuperSU during Nougat update as I don't require root now. So since I don't have root can I still update TWRP?

  2. Could you please help me! I used the first method, using the official twrp app. My first version for twrp was for my Galaxy Note 4 running the alliance rom 5.0.1. There were two updates I could do for the latest version. One ending with .img.tar and one ending with .img. I chose the .img file and pressed flash to recovery. It said the flash failed. What do I do? And does my recovery still work?

  3. +MaowDroid I have TWRP on my OnePlus One and when I tried to update it through the TWRP app it just keeps taking me back to " select device". I downloaded the latest TWRP 3.1.1 and it didn't take me to the TWRP page like you did on the video. I did the other option of flashing the image also. It's weird because when I open the app it says the new version 3.1.1 but it still shows the same thing, Select device.

  4. I'm not able to restore a backup thru ADB. gives an error backup method not recognized. u know what I'm doing wrong?

  5. Thanks for your Videos , they are great and take the "scary" out of playing around with Android , rooting etc . The Official App worked perfect for me 🙂 ………. also now on 7.1.2 thanks to you other Videos.

  6. Hey, so I was wondering the message is a little frustrating is there anyway to get rid of the warning message when booting your device up?

  7. Thank you for showing how to do the ADB backup feature. I was a little confused at how to back up the partitions but I saw that you needed to initiate the backup while in recovery duh.

  8. Uhh… Quick question… I'm using magisk and it's doing pretty well but… Sometimes I have to re root it with the zip file? It says I'm no longer rooted? Then it works fine for about a week or two then it unroots again?

  9. off topic, but I've downgraded to 6.0.1 for a while, do I need anything special to install a 7.1 ROM now? Just the vendor and zip?

  10. Totally unrelated but you know the pixel finger print gestures? Where you can swipe down on the fingerprint sensor? Does that work on the nexus 6p?
