Farm Manager 2018 continues and at long last we upgrade our farmhouse to level 2! There’s a worrying moment where it disappears but then it returns and looks just like a ski lodge, so that’s nice.

There’s a plan afoot to get lots of buckwheat honey, which seems hugely profitable! A small field of buckwheat is created and lots of beekeepers are placed around it. Unfortunately I do make a few errors and also forget about winter…

Additionally, we harvest some red peppers, endure a bug with the slaughterhouse and do some logistics management training!

Also I finally take note of all the comments and correctly implement the slaughterhouse. Sorry!

NOTE: A key to the game was given to me by the Developers.

Manage your own farm in the game Farm Manager 2018! To expand your farm business, produce cheap and sell your products in high prices. Control the process of land cultivation, employ the best staff, buy the most appropriate farm equipment, raise livestock and process the harvested crops. Various camera modes allow you to enter into a strategic view as well as to look at the world through the eyes of the employee. Respond to the changing weather and seasons. Create a greenhouse to sell crops in early spring. Buy new and used, special agricultural machinery, to quickly collect and sell crops before their expiration date. Optimize costs and employ seasonal workers only at the harvest time. Accept challenges from neighbors to prove who is the best farmer in the area.

    August 2019-
I'd love to see the devs put in a way to designate what goes into which warehouse. I get quite frustrated when the workers stick things like meat and milk into the normal warehouse and then put the sprays into the cooling one. It doesn't make sense that we can't say "only these things in here" or at least "do not put these things in here". If you only use the smaller warehouse, then it doesn't matter, but once you get the big cooling one, it does. I pay the big bucks for that cooling warehouse so that my products don't go bad so quickly.

I've bought the game recently and I still have the 'take above' instead the updated one, is there anything I must do to change that?

When the slaughter house dies.. Save game, exit, start the game again. Slaughterhouse then starts working again.

i think i noticed that you need to turn on the rabbits for the slaughterhouse for a little bit, otherwise that poor rabbit is sitting in there waiting to be slaughtered but never does. what a way to live lol

you are making so much money omg! farm manager 2018 is definitely your thing and the Lovely People Farm ™️ 2.0 has you to thank, farmer Penge 😃👨‍🌾

I don't know why people love this game (but what ever I was always different/weird person) Fun fact: If humans wear something red there are more aggressive

Don't forget to make a colza field. Since you only get max 33% of variant honeys. That'll get you all 3 variations. I think as long as there's a field on the property, that's all that matters… might want to check the ones by the main house in Spring when honey production is going, to see if field distance matters. Might need to fertilize though, I've had a field I didn't fertilize, and it died. It does take some time after Spring starts for honey production to start…. you do have to wait for the temp to get up, and plants to start flowering, after all. Colza honey sells for less than buckwheat honey, but it still sells for more than multiflower.

The crop quality not mattering, is dependant on whether or not you're using it solely for the honey production, or if you want to actually want to harvest it. Yeah, with how little you sell rabbit meat for, minus the employee's salary, I don't think it's profitable…

    The blades are angled like this : ___ / ___ _
since they're facing in opposite directions.
So, if wind was coming in from the left, it would move the first blade / downwards… and when it hits the second blade it pushes it upwards. Even if it's a simple animation… this is how it would work if the windmills didn't turn.

But, if the game was more accurate, the other windmills would turn into the direction of the wind, but with the windmills so close, they would hit each other and become damaged… so, they'd definately need more space between them.

Is it just an animation, or is there actual wind in the game? Way to tell, is if you have windmills facing perpendicular to those 2. ie. the other cardinal directions.

Good job catching, and fixing that bug.

I would like to point out that the developers are looking at implementing some sort of auto insemination system which should be pretty close to being released. And I have seen that they wanted to look into some system for watering the fields as well though that is further into the future.

And while the video kinda seemed to indicate that you need a owner's building level 2 for loans that isn't actually the case, you just need the research.

And a quick note for The Geek Cupboard: if you press TAB you will have a small indicator above your field (or greenhouse) where progress can be tracked, either for the growth if no task is in progress on it or the progress of the task.
